The most widely-used technology for capturing rare cells in blood

The CELLSEARCH® System detects, enriches and enumerates circulating tumor cells or other rare cell types from whole blood in a standardized and reproducible workflow.

The components of the CELLSEARCH System include the CellTracks Autoprep System – for automated and reproducible sample preparation and the CellTracks Analyzer II System – for semi-automated and rapid sample analysis.

Two different types of cell-stabilizing preservative blood collection tubes and different reagent kits are available to address different research needs.

The CELLSEARCH instruments are FDA-cleared and CE-IVD-marked for in vitro diagnostic (IVD) testing.

Enriching different rare cell types

The CELLSEARCH® System, coupled with different reagent kits can address different research needs and brings innovative solutions for rare cell enrichment.

Cell capture uses ferrofluid consisting of a magnetic nanoparticle surrounded by a polymeric layer, coated with anti-EpCAM antibodies for capture of epithelial-origin cells or another antibody specific for the target cells of interest.
Immunomagnetically captured cells are characterized using different combinations of staining reagents detected through the system’s fluorescent channels.
The system’s 4th open detection channel provides extended capabilities to further characterize captured cells using a biomarker of your choice (e.g. HER2, PD-L1, M30, Bcl-2, Ki67, Vimentin).

An advanced platform for rare cells capture

CELLTRACKS® AUTOPREP® System

The CELLTRACKS® AUTOPREP® System automates and standardizes complex sample processing using immunomagnetic cell capture, enrichment, and fluorescence staining with easy-to-use software and batch processing of up to 8 samples with complete walk-away operation.

Captured and stained cells are automatically dispensed into the sample cartridge, which sits inside the MAGNEST Cartridge Holder. A magnetic field lifts captured target cells to the analytical surface of the cartridge, where they are ready to be scanned by the CellTracks Analyzer II System.

Blood Collection Tubes

The CellSave Preservative Tubes (for CTC enrichment) and CellRescue Preservative Tubes - RUO (for CMMC enrichment) provide cell stabilization at room temperature for 96 and 120 hours respectively allowing batch processing and shipment to remote locations.

CELLTRACKS ANALYZER II®

The CELLTRACKS ANALYZER II® is a fluorescence analyzer that provides rapid and accurate analysis and enumeration of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) or other rare cell types.
